James Lesure Fast Facts:

Attended the Air Force Preparatory Academy before attending USC.
Was an amateur boxer for a semester during college.
Portrayed Macduff in a Los Angeles theater company's production of Macbeth.
An avid basketball fan, he played in the NBA Entertainment League and was voted the league's MVP for 2005-06. He also portrayed a former basketball player on the sitcom Mr. Sunshine.
Though he starred on the NBC drama Las Vegas (2003-08), a series set in a casino, he told buddytv.com in a 2007 interview that he was not a gambling man.
In a 2011 TV Guide online interview, he explained that he was often cast against type as confident characters, and that in real life he was "nerdy and klutzy."
Has worked with the HollyRod Foundation, which helps people cope with Parkinson's disease, and received the Celebrity Honoree and Distinguished Support Awards from the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.
Cofounded a company called What's Your Blend?, which made T-shirts spotlighting the concepts of diversity and multiculturlism.
