Dexter: Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter Look Back on 8 Seasons of Kills and Thrills

After eight seasons, over 100 kills and more blood than we can imagine, Dexter will sign off for good on Sunday.

From the beginning, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) was a serial killer incapable of having emotions or a true human connection. But over the course of eight seasons, he's faced love, loss, heartache and even friendship with his foul-mouthed sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter), proving that he may have the capacity for feelings. Will that be Dexter's downfall in the series finale? We'll find out Sunday (9/8c, Showtime). Before then, however, Hall and Carpenter look back at eight seasons of kills and thrills... read more

Dexter's Final Season: Should Our Favorite Serial Killer Die Before the End?

After eight emotional, death-filled seasons, Dexter will sign-off for good — but the question remains whether the series' titular character will do the same.

In short, viewers changed their entire perception on this particular serial killer because he was our anti-hero.

The Monday Playlist: Fosters, Mistresses, Teen Wolf, Revolution Finale

"Here's the story

Of two lovely ladies ..."

Doesn't take long before ABC Family's The Fosters dispels one of its two moms' worries that if they keep adding kids to their already crowded household, "It's going to be like The Brady Bunch around here." Well, maybe if Carol had married Alice and Alice was an African-American private-school vice principal and Carol was a cop and the kids were a blended multi-racial rainbow of diversity. Earnest but rarely saccharine, this promising new family drama (Monday, 9/8c) — to be paired in future weeks with the channel's best series, Switched at Birth — establishes its edgier tone by introducing its main character, the abused but prideful Callie (Maia Mitchell), as she gets roughed up on her way out of juvy and into the welcoming custody of Lena (Sherri Saum), who hasn't yet told her partner-the-cop Stef (Teri Polo) about the new addition.
