It's here!!! The show that everyone has been waiting for - MAKEOVER WEEK!! There is always something special about makeover week. I have used the analogy over and over again that when we first went onto the show we were broken down buildings. Over time, we have torn our building down, poured a new, stronger foundation, and started work from the ground up. Even more special, this season we will be sent home and our makeover reveal will be with our family and loved ones. It doesn't get much better than this.

After losing my best friend Francelina at the weigh-in, all I wanted to do was crawl into my bed and lick my wounds. But of course, the beautiful and dramatic Alison Sweeney informs us that our night is just beginning. One more person will be leaving the ranch. That's right! This week is about facing your fears and one person is about to take on the fear of leaving the ranch. They will be taken to an off-campus location and have to spend the week away from the trainers, the gym, and the other contestants. The person who leaves the ranch will be determined by a pop challenge.

This week is all about working together. It's a time where we put our own needs and insecurities aside and work together for the greater good. A time where, even though it's an individual's game, we to put 100 percent of our trust into the people we have been sharing a house and gym with for the last 7 weeks. We have been working as a team since week one and have built strong bonds between each other. Losing a collective 70 pounds should be easy for us to achieve for immunity, right? That's what I thought too, but just like the time I thought Bruce Willis had survived the shooting in The Sixth Sense I was DEAD wrong.

INDIVIDUALS!! This is the point in the competition where we lose our teammates and it is completely up to us as individuals to keep ourselves in the game. The mood in the house has definitely shifted. It has gone from "help your neighbor; we're all in this together" to "Can I trust my neighbor? I'm in this for myself."
On a lighter note, individuals is also the time where we all get new colors! Francy= Orange, Joe= Garnet, Jeff= Aqua, Alex= Green, Gina= Purple, Mike= Charcoal, Danni= Pink. And Me? I'm the Golden boy!

With Lisa gone, it is more important than ever to come together as a team and make every second in the gym count. Lisa was our motivator. She would get us up early every morning, she would pull us off the couch when we didn't want to go walking, and she made sure we were all eating right. Basically, Lisa was the mom of the group and now it's like we have been kicked out of the nest. We have to learn to fly on our own.
