Jake and the Neverland Pirates
Shiver me timbers! Disney's animated preschool hit Jake and the Never Land Pirates returns for a new season Friday, Jan. 3, with "Treasure of the Pirate Mummy's Tomb," an episode that finds Jake and his pals going in search of the Never Land Ankh. This magical staff has the power to move sand — perfect for helping Captain Flynn (Josh Duhamel) dig his ship out of the desert. But finding the Ankh won't be easy! The gang must first...
Wander Over Yonder
Space is the new frontier for the Disney Channel, which will sneak preview the new intergalactic animated series Wander Over Yonder right after the premiere of Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel on Aug. 16.
Wander Over Yonder, created by Craig McCracken (The Powerpuff Girls) centers on space traveler and do-gooder Wander ...
Phineas and Ferb
Princesses, pop stars and superheroes will be among the many Disney favorites taking over the Anaheim Convention Center on August 9—11 for the biennial D23 Expo. The celebration of all things Disney will include the stars and creators of several popular shows from the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior.
Among the big Disney Channel events being showcased are Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, a summer special in which the boys meet the superheroes of (Disney-owned) Marvel Comics; Teen Beach Movie, a live-action musical airing July 19; and Wander Over Yonder, the upcoming animated series from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken and starring 30 Rock alum Jack McBrayer (both of whom will be in attendance).
Though as popular as ever, ABC's top comedy Modern Family isn't always the most pleasant company — and in this week's episode (Wednesday, 9/8c), several of the more abrasive and prickly characters (notably, siblings Claire and Mitchell) confront their dark side with sporadically funny if sometimes predictable results.
TV has had its share of good doctors, but The Middle (Wednesday, 8/7c, ABC) has a good dentist: Dr. Goodwin, novice hygienist Frankie Heck's new boss, played with gusto by 30 Rock's Jack McBrayer.
Here's a fearless (and rather obvious) prediction for what could be a pivotal week on Fox's American Idol. Regardless of what happens on the next performance show (Wednesday, 8/7c), if America's vote endangers any of the girls — none of whom have been sent home yet (sorry, guys, especially Burnell) — the judges will almost certainly use their season's one "save."
Jack McBrayer, Patricia Heaton
As if three crazy kids weren't enough for The Middle's harried mom, Frankie Heck (Patricia Heaton). The recently anointed dental assistant will gain another immature charge on the April 10 episode of the ABC comedy: her new boss, Ted Goodwin, DDS, played by 30 Rock alum Jack McBrayer.
30 Rock's Jack McBrayer is about to get stuck in The Middle.
McBrayer has booked a guest arc as a dentist who hires Frankie (Patricia Heaton) to come work for him as a hygienist, TVLine reports.

Jimmy Fallon, Brian Williams
This week, Brian Williams returned to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to once again slow-jam the news, this time touching on hot topics like the fiscal cliff. The folks at CollegeHumor wondered what Homeland would look like as an old-school video game. And, as 30 Rock prepared for its final episode, Tina Fey took us on a tour of Liz Lemon's apartment.
