Fox has ordered a fifth and sixth season of Glee, the network announced Friday.
"Glee debuted as the first and only successful musical comedy series on television, and more than four years later, it continues to defy genres, break new ground and have a significant impact on popular culture," said Fox Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly.

Glee's Season 4 premiere on Thursday answered many burning questions (Can Cassandra July actually out-dance her wide-eyed ingénues? Yes, she can!), but it also left fans with a set of new ones . When the heck is Finn coming back? Is Tina going to be mean forever? What's next for Klaine after Kurt's teary goodbye? And most importantly, what other celebrity impressions can we expect from Sam next? We got the answers to all those and more...
That's the word Glee co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan uses to describe the summer of 2011 when it was reported that stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith would be among the graduating seniors and would not be returning Season 4.
"I was like, 'I can't believe this is such a huge deal,'" Brennan tells TVGuide.com. "We had to do a lot of reassuring to people: Not only are you not going to miss any of the characters you love this season, but we're probably going to follow them when they graduate. It was more of a nuisance than anything...

I can't believe Glee cast a love interest for Rachel! Please give us Finchel fans some hope! — Charlie
NATALIE: Two pieces of bad news and one good one: First, executive producer Ian Brennan tells us that fans will actually like new boy Brody Weston (Dean Geyer). Second, "When we come back, Finn is a mystery; no one has heard from him," he says, noting that once Finn does return, it'll be a great season for Finn fans. And now the good news... sort of: Brennan says Rachel won't just totally forget about Finn. "Rachel has moved cities, but hasn't quite moved on, and is caught in that period between being a teenager and being an adult," he says, "So he's at the forefront of her mind, all the while the rest of her life is totally changing."
Everyone's asking about Booth's reaction to being left behind on Bones, but what about Brennan? How does she feel out on the lam? — Brittany

A familiar face will officially be returning to McKinley High in the fall.
Glee's Chord Overstreet has finalized a deal for his character, Sam Evans, to return as a series regular this season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In other Glee news, details have emerged about the previously announced guest roles for Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson this season.
Growing up is hard to do — even for the kids of Glee.
After graduating from McKinley High last spring, Rachel, Kurt and the rest of the seniors are going to have a tough time in the "real world" when the show returns this fall (Sept. 13 at 9/8c).
"That's what this season is about, to me — going from this very cozy, family environment where it's all about following your dreams and then all of a sudden that's done and you're expected to go out into the real world and try to make it work and try to pay rent," executive producer Ian Brennan told reporters at Comic-Con Saturday. "What does it mean when you tell kids to follow your dreams no matter how hard it is but then it's really hard....
Glee, Lea Michele
Still floored that Rachel botched her big audition in this week's episode? (Its title, "Choke," was kind of a giveaway...) Freaking out that only a few episodes stand between you and the McKinley High graduation? You're not alone. At a Tuesday Glee panel, the show's cast and crew explained why hope is not lost for Rachel and teased what's to come before G-Day.
You will need tissues.
Matt Bomer, Glee
Matt Bomer fans already know the White Collar star can sing -- like, really sing! -- so of course he makes his Glee debut performing the hits of Duran Duran and It singer-songwriter Gotye.
He also gets to channel d-bag actors everywhere.
All I'm saying is it's about damn time. On November 15, Glee will finally reveal why Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) hates musical theater. As the kids prepare to stage West Side Story, "we wanted to show that Sue at one point had Broadway dreams," teases exec producer Ian Brennan.
A flashback shows 16-year-old Sue on stage belting out the title song from...

Got any scoop on The Office? — Matt
NATALIE: Someone (who may or may not be depicted above — Andy's da boss now, so he gets the photo) has a secret girlfriend! We have to admit we're a little saddened by the development, as it dashes the hopes — perhaps temporarily — of a hookup we thought was in the makings. Guesses?
On Glee, how can McKinley High have two glee clubs? They can't send them both to sectionals, right? — Jessica
ADAM: Did you not watch The Glee Project? Sometimes everybody wins! That said...
