Hulk Hogan: "I Totally Understand O.J."

As a pro wrestler, Hulk Hogan was always great at talking smack. But he's getting a smackdown for saying ex-wife Linda Bollea helps him understand O.J. Simpson.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, sounded off in the new issue of Rolling Stone about his ex and the "shaggy-haired pool boy 30 years her junior" she is now dating. His frustration even led the former wrestler to compare his situation to O.J. Simpson's.

"I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody's throat," Hogan said. "You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can't go to anymore, you're driving through downtown Clearwater [Florida] and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife.... I totally understand O.J. I get it."

Simpson was tried and acquitted for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman in 1995. A civil jury found Simpson liable in the deaths two years later, and ordered him to pay $33.5 million to the Goldman family.

A rep for Hogan has since issued a mea culpa. "Hulk in no way ... read full article
