Several people get sick and one woman dies after eating a bad batch of strawberry preserves at the Joshua Peabody Inn, one of the newest restaurants in town. As Jessica looks into the case, Cabot Cove's residents try to pass the blame.

George, Katherine and Uncle Phil go to court to battle for custody of Webster.

As they are still reminiscing from past shows, they realize that they haven't seen Webster around the house and they start to get worried, not knowing that he is still in the secret room.

Webster gets trapped in a secret room that looks like there is no way out. Meanwhile, while Webster is trapped, the gang reminisces through flashbacks to old episodes.

Katherine convinces George to go on a game show with her and Webster so she can investigate a charge against the show’s host. Unfortunately, Katherine is overzealous about answering the questions and makes George look foolish.
