David Boreanaz and John Francis Daley
Bones' executive producers believe Booth and Brennan still have plenty of obstacles to overcome this season. But they don't all have to be so serious!
Case in point: Monday's episode (8/7c, Fox) finds Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) struggling with Booth's decision to invite Sweets (John Francis Daley) to be their houseguest. And it won't be very long before Booth realizes three's a crowd.

Bones' Season 8 finale will pose a somewhat disturbing question: Has the Jeffersonian's team of scientists finally met its match?
The opponent, of course, is Christopher Pelant (guest star Andrew Leeds), the so-called "hacktivist" the team first investigated in this season's seventh episode. When Pelant heads to court for a parole hearing, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) have plenty to say to the judge about keeping him locked up...

Have you heard anything about how Criminal Minds' plans to replace Paget Brewster in Season 8? — Ashley
ADAM: I was actually on set last week and asked executive producer Erica Messer that very question. The short answer: Don't look for it to happen right away. Messer says she'd like to mimic what the show did in Season 3 when Joe Mantegna replaced departing star Mandy Patinkin a few episodes into the season. "I feel like we come back in Season 8 without Prentiss, and we're functioning just fine," she says. "But there's a void. We need that extra body. But I don't know who that character is yet." Why don't you guys help her out in the comments below?

Back in 2005, when a cocky FBI agent first joined forces with a bookish forensic anthropologist to solve crimes, David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel never could have envisioned their mismatched characters sharing not only a home, but also a baby, in the year 2012. But here both actors are, sitting for their first interview in Booth and Brennan's cozy new living-room set — complete with crib and stuffed animals strewn about the floor.
In case you hadn't heard, Bones will welcome a new character to the fold when the show returns Monday.

In an ordinary season, creator Hart Hanson says he would have fought to keep Baby Bones' birthday a surprise, but this season has been anything but ordinary. The show premiered late in the fall before going on an extended hiatus while star Emily Deschanel gave birth in real life. Now the show is back — but it's moving to a new night and time, Mondays at 8/7c. Thus, the long-awaited birth became more of an event...

How will a baby change Bones? Not all that much, according to producers.
"It's still Bones," executive producer Stephen Nathan said Thursday at the Fox drama's PaleyFest event, which featured a panel moderated by TVLine's Michael Ausiello. "We don't want to give the impression that we're doing Parenthood."

While the Jeffersonian Institute shuts down for a week of vacation, Hodgins (Bones' TJ Thyne) decides to skip down to the Everglades to enlist the services of Walter Sherman (Geoff Stults). Hodgins, whose interest is piqued by the disappearance of an astronaut, hopes Walter can help him find the missing spaceman in order to prove a government cover-up of the existence of alien life.
Although Hodgins and Walter are both skeptics, that doesn't mean they'll necessarily get along. "There are two different types of paranoia: Hodgins believes in the extraterrestrial; Walter believes in the conspiracy," Stults tells TVGuide.com...
