Eddie McClintock and Emily Deschanel, Bones
Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan can solve murders just by looking at victims' skeletons, but when it comes to affairs of the heart, she's clueless.
"Brennan has been abandoned by her father and her brother — the closest men in her life — and she can't let go of that," says Emily Deschanel, the plucky actress who plays the title character on Fox's Bones (Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET). "She's pretty much fearless in the rest of her life, but fear governs her relationships."

When TVGuide.com caught up with David Boreanaz at last year's Comic-Con, he had just shot the pilot for the Fox series Bones and was scheduled to film the next batch of episodes as soon as he got back to L.A. At that point, no one had any idea how the show would fare in the ratings. What a difference a year makes. Returning to San Diego a few weeks ago, the former angsty vampire was all smiles, secure in the knowledge that his character, FBI agent Seeley Booth, would be solving forensic crimes opposite Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) for another season. After appearing at a Bones panel disc

I'm hopping on a plane to Los Angeles in just a few hours my first Press Tour Diary will appear right here Saturday night! but before I do, I wanted to post this scooptastic interview I just conducted with Bones executive producer Hart Hanson. There are loads of juicy nuggets about the new season, including new details about Booth and Brennan's new boss, Dr. Camille Saroyan (played by Tamara Taylor), and major news about which Practice star is coming on to play the mother of Booth's child. (Hint: it's not Camryn Manheim!)Ausiello: Explain why you're bringing in a new boss for Booth and Brennan.Hart Hanson: A couple of reasons. Very often we have to see DNA results come from somewhere else or hear about results from someone's decomposed liver or something. This way, we can actually be there for it. On the character side, she's Brennan's superior, and has a completely different ...
