Although this attractive, aspiring pop princess tried her best, no one thought Scarnato would make the final cut on the sixth season of
American Idol. But never try to second-guess public taste: On March 8, 2007, this former wedding singer shocked the judges when she beat out diva Sabrina Sloan for a top-12 spot. With her long legs on prominent display — presumably to take the focus off her sketchy vocals — Scarnato struggled along week to week. And while she became the fifth finalist to be voted off, she lasted much longer than anyone had anticipated.
