Suspecting a conspiracy, Rocky poses as a crook himself to infiltrate the gang, nab the ringleader and make sure justice takes the day. Harry Keller directs this B Western.
America's favorite singing cowboy, Roy Rogers, plays a character by the same name who owns an oil pipeline located near a missile-launching site. The devious Gregory Camwell (Grant Withers) covets the site and steals some of Roy's oil while gaining access. In an action-packed climax, Camwell rigs a missile with explosives and Roy tries to stop him in an all-out fistfight on top of an oil derrick!
In 1805, U.S. Marine Lt. O'Bannion (John Payne) and his men are sent to the African port of Tripoli to help suppress the Barbary Pirates, who've been ravaging shipping trade in the region. O'Bannion's unit is ordered to approach the pirates' base via the desert. Joining the Marines on their strategic trek is Countess D'Arneau (Maureen O'Hara), the daughter of an official. Traveling incognito, the countess soon becomes a gadfly for O'Bannion.
On the lam after killing an Army captain in self-defense, John "Ringo" Baker (Bill Elliott) accidentally shoots his brother Lt. Mike Baker while making his escape. Ringo finds refuge in a remote town, where local ranchers hire him to thwart a greedy land baron (Grant Withers). The villain, in turn, hires a gunman to take out Ringo. And to make matters worse, the Army has sent Ringo's brother in pursuit of him.
Roy Rogers and his horse, Trigger, star in this B Western from Rogers's Republic Pictures days. Hoodlums have run away with gold ore after murdering the gold's rightful owner, and an undercover insurance investigator (Rogers) is hot on their trail. Before the whodunit is solved, however, the agent discovers that the man behind the heinous crime is someone he didn't expect. Dale Evans (Rogers's wife) and Pat Brady co-star.
