I am very thankful for MasterChef Junior. After a whole summer of watching myself compete in MasterChef, I didn't really know what to do with myself now! I was waiting every week for Wednesday nights, and now the wait is for Friday nights.

It is very hard to believe that kids between the ages of 8 and 13 will be competing to become the first US MasterChef Junior in the same MasterChef kitchen on the same MasterChef challenges that we had to work on. My worst fear is that these kids might make me look bad. You see I won the title of MasterChef in the US only a few weeks ago.
Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding! The Fox network couldn't resist chiming in with its own take on "The Fox," the online video sensation and catchy dance song from Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis.
A new Fox promo, set to start airing Tuesday night, features various network stars singing and dancing along to the nonsensical chorus of "The Fox." Among network talent chiming in (complete with animal headgear): Jane Lynch (Glee), Orlando Jones and Katia Winter (Sleepy Hollow), Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Geoff Stults (Enlisted), Graham Elliot (Masterchef Junior) and Michael Ealy (Almost Human). Clips from an assortment of Fox shows are also synced to the tune.
Finally, the day has come when I will pass the MasterChef America title and crown on to a successor. Will it be Natasha or Luca? Let's break down the finale cook-off.
We are down to the final 4 on MasterChef. Since Luca won the previous challenge, he will select a teammate, leaving the other two cooks to form their own team by default. During this time last season, I, too, was in Luca's position, and I selected Becky, putting Josh and Frank together on the opposing team. We were tasked to make a three-course dinner for, not only the judges, but three additional kings of the culinary world: Guy Savoy, Daniel Boulud, and Alain Ducasse.
MasterChef is back this week with a two-hour episode, which means double eliminations, right? Hmmm... We begin with a mystery box put together by none other than the judges' sons.
In this week's episode of MasterChef, the top 6 becomes the top 7 again when Bri re-enters the kitchen after beating out Bime for a white apron. Underneath the mystery box is a 16-ounce T-bone steak. The contestants are challenged with the task of cooking a dish that highlights this cut of meat. T-bone steaks are aptly named for the T-shaped bone in the center, which separates the fillet or tenderloin cut from the strip steak.

In this episode of MasterChef, the remaining six contestants won't be cooking. Judging from my Season 3 experiences, I don't take this as a good sign. Sure enough, past Season 4 contestants return to battle their way back into the MasterChef kitchen. During my season, eight previously eliminated cooks returned, each handpicking an ingredient for their collective mystery box. This time, however, the judges have pre-selected which contestants would have a chance at re-earning a spot back in the competition...

An all-new MasterChef returns this week with a gigantic mystery box. The box raises, and out steps Eva Longoria. She picks the ingredients for the challenge, and there's pork tenderloin, shrimp, avocado, mango, corn, jalapeño, tomatillo, garlic, onion, Mexican chocolate—a clear homage to her Mexican roots...
