Roz borrows Frasier's BMW to take her daughter, Alice for some ice cream and a day at the zoo. Her car is in the shop for repairs from a fender bender, but Frasier thinks it's out for an oil change. He'd freak out if he knew she was in an accident, but now he will erupt for another reason... Alice threw up all over his car. Niles stops by to pick Daphne up for their date at the botanical gardens, but their plans change when Martin is nowhere to be found and Daphne has to take Eddie to the dog park. At the dog park, Niles makes a new friend with a giant dog who stands eye to eye with him, while playing fetch with Eddie. The handsome owner, Jim, approaches to retrieve his dog. Jim and Daphne actually know each other. They're old friends who have always been interested in each other, but it never worked out because one always had a significant other. Niles senses their slight flirtation and is a bit jealous. Out of the blue, Niles asks if he and Daphne can have one irrational demand for each other like any other healthy relationship. Niles asks her to never come to the dog park again (he doesn't want her bumping into Jim...little does he know that Jim is planning on leaving the country to work in Chile). She laughs at the thought that this is his one demand, but goes along with it. Daphne waits to deliver her demand...she has years to think over what she'll forbid him to do.
