TV Guide Magazine gathered together some of the most creative and successful minds in the TV business on March 30 for WonderCon's Fan Favorite Showrunners panel. Celebrating the magazine's 60th anniversary and moderated by LA bureau chief Michael Schneider, the all-star lineup included Greg Plageman (Person of Interest), Jeff Davis (Teen Wolf), Remi Aubuchon (Falling Skies), Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead), Steven Molaro (The Big Bang Theory) and Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries).
Glen Mazzara has signed an overall deal with Fox Television Studios, TVGuide.com has learned.
Under the deal, the former Walking Dead showrunner and The Shield executive producer will develop a variety of cable television projects for the studio under his new banner, 44 Strong Productions.

Will Andrea survive The Walking Dead's third season?
The Walking Dead kicks off the second half of its third season Sunday (10/9c, AMC), which marks the beginning of the end for former showrunner Glen Mazzara.
In late December, AMC announced that its megahit series — which drew a whopping 10.5 million viewers for its midseason finale — was renewed for a fourth season, but it would go on without Mazzara, who will be replaced by Dead writer Scott Gimple. This wasn't the first time that this has happened, either. Mazzara had actually replaced original showrunner Frank Darabont.

Despite his exit, Mazzara is still promoting the show because of his work on the latter half of Season 3. Below, Mazzara discusses his exit, any regrets he may have and then teases the impending war between the prison and Woodbury.
