Superman, Pauley Perrette
Pauley Perrette is getting out of the lab. The NCIS star will voice Lois Lane in the upcoming animated DVD-movie Superman vs. The Elite. Based on the story "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way?," which ran in Action Comics No. 775 in 2001, the film pits the Man of Steel against a ruthless team of "heroes" with staggering powers. Reunion1991 Soundtrack: R.E.M. "Losing My Religion"; Jesus Jones "Right Here, Right Now"; EMF "Unbelievable"; James "Top of the World."
I gotta tell you — Chyler Leigh was fierce while George Newbern was just plain scary. The "sleeping with the enemy" story line brought out some good performances. Seriously. I never knew that Newbern could be such a good lurker. He always seems to play nice guys. AbusivePaul isn't nice. At all. And our Carla has been trapped in a relationship with him in order to protect Sam's kid. After she engineered an escape for Amy (to her adopted mother), she trained a gun on him and made him call the police and tell them all was well.
Basic Instinct played out in the present-day scenes with Captain MajorHott

Reunion1990 Soundtrack: Skid Row: "I Remember You"; Social Distortion: "Ball and Chain"; The Smiths: “Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want”
You tried to trick me, Reunion folks. Last week I was confident that Sam was the victim. And then all of a sudden we see her in 2005? Very clever to make it her reunion remembrance video, although why she would talk in such detail about 1990 is beyond me. So in this new decade, Will goes from snitch to soldier; Carla is sleeping with the enemy; Jenna's mom is dying of AIDS; Craig and Sam are married and Aaron is still in Prague.
The ugh! moments: Jenna's present-day wig, anyone? French woman saying "How do you say?" is such a pet peeve of mine. Picture my head exploding at that very moment. W

Forgive me if I seem a little down right now — it's because I didn't really want to watch two Reunion repeats (1987 and 1988). Don't get me wrong, I'm beyond psyched for the show to come back. But I really wanted to be glued to Game 7 of baseball's NLCS — the one where the St. Louis Cardinals were supposed to complete an amazing comeback from being down 3-1. Phat Albert (Pujols) was supposed to top the home-run miracle from Monday night. But, sigh, it wasn't meant to be and now here I am, hittin' the retro rewind with our six dysfunctional friends. 1) Jenna's Tawny Kitaen/Whitesnake act still cracks me up the second time around. The cheezometer on that music video is 25 on a scale of 1 to 10.2) Loved Aaron's line to Jenna: "In what universe is sleeping with someone three months ago a long time ago?" But Aaron, you're still a doofus for being such a puppy dog. 3) Carla to Aaron: "30 is not that far away...."
