Ready to be Roasted: David Hasselhoff Says "Bring it on!"

David Hasselhoff

In commercials for the Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff (airing Sunday, August 15, 10/9c), the actor gamely acknowledges the abundance of material that is likely to be slung at him at the legendary no-holds-barred event: Knight Rider, Baywatch, the undying devotion of his German fans to his music and, of course, "the video." That's the infamous clip from 2007 in which one of Hasselhoff's two daughters pleads with her shirtless, intoxicated father to stop drinking, all while he munches on a hamburger. It will all be easy fodder for confirmed roasters like... read more

Dancing's Aiden Turner on Spray-Tanning: I Don't Want to Turn Into George Hamilton

Aiden Turner, Dancing With The Stars

Aiden Turner is kicking up his feet on Dancing with the Stars — and his back is feeling the pain. "Oh my back — in the middle on the right side, it just aches and kills," the former All My Children star tells TVGuide.com. "I think it's from these twists we're doing. Our dance is faster than anybody's. At one point, Edyta [Sliwinska, his partner] grabs me, I have to lean back and then she pulls me, and we do three or four moves and my back goes click-click-click." The pain is worth the gain, though, because "it's getting to the point where I'm a little more confident that I'm not going to suck," Turner says. See what else the 32-year-old British actor has to say about learning — and (sort of) choreographing — the cha-cha, what he won't do on the show and how frequently he'll hit the spray-tan booth.

Dancing with the Stars Finally!...

Isaiah Washington, Grey's Anatomy

Dancing with the StarsFinally! By the looks of all those montages and Tom's weird sit-down interview, the producers were very ready to say goodbye to Master P and Ashly. I seriously doubt they had all that prepared for any other couples. And with their departure, this will actually be a tough competition from now on. (Oh, and P? I think I'd rather watch you dance than have to endure that lame Scarface accent ever again.) Even with the new all-live format, the result show felt like so much filler. Regardless of what you think of Spice Girls 2.0, the Pussycat Dolls, wasn't it a little out of place to have them sing their hit without a ballroom dancer in sight? Also, why was that other guy singing about the cha-cha (was that the read more

was faster than the quickstep with his off-the-cuff humor tonight — calling the rowdy audience soccer fans, warning the judges not to tell Drew Lachey he wasn't "in sync," suggesting that Master P start a line of dancing shoes. I was also tickled by the way George Hamilton was orchestrating all these little soap-operatic scenes for the moments just before the commercial. I'm glad some people are taking the competitive edge off things.

Lisa and Louis: I always thought of the rhumba as Baby and Johnny's dance from Dirty Dancing. Even without the lift, this was much dirtier. But what, dear god, is up with choosing that read more
