Set in the strange and oppressive emotional landscape of the year 1983, BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW is a Reagan-era fever dream inspired by hazy childhood memories of midnight movies and Saturday morning cartoons. Cosmatos was born in Rome in 1974 to the late Greek movie director (George Cosmatos) and a Swedish experimental artist mother. He spent his early formative years traveling all over the globe before settling in Canada. In 1981, the family lived for a year in Mexico where exposure to the strange local interpretations of American pop culture had a profound and lasting effect on his creative life. Growing up in the isolated suburbs of Vancouver Island during the 80s, he obsessed over the minutiae of heavy metal, fantasy art, and science fiction horror films, which he still does to this day. He then immersed himself in the underground art and music scenes making short films, album covers and music videos with a burgeoning group of influential and groundbreaking artists. Panos currently lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Last year on the night before Halloween, they decided to go on a self made tour of famous Hollywood murders and celebrity haunted houses. The tour led them to a house known as 1666. They have been missing ever since. We ve all done this, as teenagers - we ve all heard stories of a local haunted hot spot. In most cases, we ve gotten into a packed car with a bunch of our friends to go to the location and check it out for ourselves. And more often than not, we ended up having a story on our hands that may or may not have been related to the paranormal. But in that moment, our nerves were high, senses alert and adrenaline pumping. Imagine your backyard is Hollywood. Imagine that these haunted Hollywood locations are only a few miles away. Be prepared to participate in a haunted tour unlike anything you ve experienced as you join these four kids through the Hollywood Hills. They visit houses like where George Reeves (the original Superman) is said to have committed suicide and where he still haunts tenants in his full Superman costume, a story that was retold in Hollywoodland, or the field where the Black Dahlia (Elizabeth Short) was discovered after experiencing one of the most horrific murders in Los Angeles history. These are the real-life stories of some of the most famous murders of Old Hollywood. Other haunted stories include Thelma Todd, Sharon Tate (a brutally famous murder ordered by Charles Manson himself), Errol Flynn, Bugsy Siegel and the Houdini Mansion. All of the locations are REAL, all of the stories REAL.

George Andrews is the founder of what is now the second-largest black-owned bank in Gerogia. He has used his bank to create economic opportunieis for the African-American community. WXIA-TV reports.
