Danny Trejos was honored with the Eyegore Award by Universal Studios for his talent and diversity within the horror film genre. The yearly award honors exemplary work in horror and sci-fi entertainment, and Trejos, who will be seen in Mechete Kills, was one of the four recipients this year. Joining the actor in the same honor were Bruce Campbell, Greg Nicotero and Ozzy Osbourne with Geezer Butler.
