Bells of San Angelo -- Roy Rogers meets up with a western writer who he despises because he resents her writing style. But, together they team up to break a silver smuggling gang across the Mexican border. Meanwhile, one of Roy's friends is being hunted by Scotland Yard, but not for the reasons they suspect. One of the best action-packed Rogers films.

Shady attorney Gilbert Leland (Roy Barcroft) is manipulating the law to kick ranchers off their land and keep it for himself, but Wild Bill Elliott and Gabby Hayes won't stand for it and set out to help the victims keep their property. When Leland and his crew conspire to have Wild Bill and Gabby framed for a murder, however, the boys must convince the townsfolk that they're innocent before a lynch mob gets to them.
