Get Committed: Who Is Really Crazy on American Horror Story: Asylum?

[Warning: This story contains spoilers from Wednesday's episode of American Horror Story: Asylum. Read at your own risk (of being committed).]

Just when you think you've got the sane ones figured out, they turn out to be the crazy ones!

American Horror Story's second season continues to ponder the question of sanity and who has it. This week's episode threw most of that up in the air with the introduction of Franka Potente's character named — wait for it — Anne Frank. Yes, that Anne Frank — allegedly. But her insistence that she is the famed Holocaust victim was the least shocking sign of insanity this week, as even Lana (Sarah Paulson), Grace (Lizzie Brochere) and Kit's (Evan Peters) true natures were revealed or tested. So who's sane? Let's take a look at that and other burning questions below: read more

Cubicle Confessions: Meet the Men of BBC America's Copper

New York City in 1864 was no place for a wimp. In BBC America's Copper, the latest collaboration from Oz and Homicide vets Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson, the Civil War-era town is a boiling stew of impoverished immigrants, uptown power brokers, vicious gangs, freed slaves and Confederate spies.

Psych Episode Recap: "One, Maybe Two Ways Out"

Nestor Carbonell is back and Franka Potente is guest starring, but none of that matters because this summer season finale is amazing for a completely different reason. This episode is crammed full of goodies so jump on Bourne (Sorry, I couldn't help myself) and follow the link to the good stuff.

Present Day. Franka Potente struts through the streets as ominous music plays. No, really. Eerie flashbacks with a screaming woman, a burning Mexican flag, and Franka Potente looking very capable, flicker across the screen for a moment and then we're back to the strutting.

Run Lola Run — Blu-ray Review

Run Lola Run is the internationally acclaimed German-language movie starring Franka Potente as "Lola." After receiving a frantic call from her boyfriend Manni, Lola has 20 minutes to replace the 100,000 marks Manni lost, or his mobster boss will kill him.I think Run Lola Run was the first foreign language film I watched, or at least the first one I remember. I used to prefer dubs of foreign movies because it was less work to watch them, but that changed as I got older and realized that something is missed with the dub. The original characters emotion is removed from the scene, replaced by an actor in a sound booth that's trying to deliver his lines, but is completely separated by the action on the screen. I watched Run Lola Run with the original German audio track turned on (Dolby TrueHD 5.1), and it sounded great. I've always been a fan of the soundtrack for the movie, and it sounds absolutely awesome in 5.1. There are 5.1 tracks in Spanish and Portuguese, and an English Dolby True... read more

June 5, 2007: Spanish Practices

Man what a season Cant the final season just start next week Or cant we just fast-forward to March 2008 right now Leave Christmas in just for the heck of itAgain The Shield threw me for a loop I was expecting either Shane or a member of the Mackey family to bite the big one and none of them did I was expecting Vic to get his job back but not by exposing the Mexican mob and I certainly didnt expect him to walk out of his hearing As Ive said before the twists and turns are what make this show so great We start off with a bang right where last week left off with Vic and Aceveda doing a dance I loved what happened between the two of them in this episode Vic tries to blackmail Aceveda by showing him the picture Then David turns around and sends a lawyer to tell Vic hes being sued and will lose everything Then Vic goes back to Pazuela and gets the memory card which forces Acevedas hand But instead of just trying to get his job back Vic teams up with Aceveda t read more
