Daughtry Sings for "First Time" Voters

Idol's golden boy, or shall we say platinum boy, Chris Daughtry, has been tapped by CNN to provide the theme song for the network's League of First Time Voters initiative. And what better song to really drive their point home and get people voting for their first time than a cover of Foreigner's hit "Feels Like the First Time." "Getting to rerecord a classic song like this was a real honor for us, and we hope it helps inspire people to vote,” says lead singer Chris Daughtry. "We strongly believe that it doesn’t matter who you vote for, as long as you vote."Foreigner's Mick Jones, who wrote the song back in the late '70s, gave the Grammy-nominated band his seal of approval saying their version is "very cool" and "more than captured the essence of the original."The single, set to premiere on Campbell Brown: Election Center Monday, August 18, will also appear on Daughtry's upcoming expanded version of its album, Daughtry Deluxe, September 9. The O.C. Here's the thing: References...

The O.C.Here's the thing: References back to Season 1 are ridiculously enjoyable. In fact, I always like a show that doesn't forget its history. But this also creates a slight issue: When you bring back Ryan's mom and flash back to scenes of the big fire that burned down Ryan's hideout, I turn all nostalgic for what I believe was a perfect year of must-O.C. And the emotionally damaged kid was a brooder in the best sense — he hadn't turned all pseudo-adult, doing things like picking up Marissa at public school. Ah, good times, good times. When I snapped out of my own personal flashback, I realized that Marissa just fell down some steps. Maybe it has something to dread more

Bones So I had to suspect that...

BonesSo I had to suspect that Agent Kenton was bad from the moment he walked on screen. I mean it was almost a little bit of déjà vu seeing David Boreanaz and Adam Baldwin together again. Except this time around, things didn't end quite so badly for David B. Booth, who was actually able to stop the bad guy from killing Brennan, instead of fighting off a seemingly insurmountable flock of demons from hell in an attempt to save the world. But I digress to the good old days of Angel, when I'm really supposed to talk about how delighted I am for an exciting episode of Bones in its nice new time slot. Brennan nearly gets whacked by the mob, she and Booth dance and sing to Foreigner's "Hot Blooded," there are some really grody-lookinread more
