Sunday's Season 6 finale of Californication will find Hank Moody asking himself a very familiar question.

Based on the exclusive first look at Season 6 below, things will remain dark when the show resumes — at least for a little while. "We pick up days after that in the hospital, where Hank has survived but she hasn't," Duchovny says. "This season kind of begins with Hank spiraling down."
