Eva Longoria has been named Maxim's Woman of the Year.
"It's especially awesome after how long it's been since my first cover," Longoria told Maxim per People, which got an early look at the issue. "I've had a beautiful relationship with Maxim over all these years. ... When someone sees the cover of this issue, they're going to say, '¡Que rico!' ... Say it when something is really good."
Despite some reports to the contrary, Eva Longoria won't be seen in any telenovelas any time soon.

Mother Up, Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria is showing off her animated side again, but this time for Hulu's new cartoon comedy Mother Up. The show premieres on the streaming service on Wednesday.
Longoria executive produces Mother Up and also lends her voice to the main character, Rudi Wilson. Rudi is a disgraced former music executive who now finds herself managing her new life as the mother of two kids in suburbia. Two episodes of Mother Up will be immediately available on Hulu and Hulu Plus, followed by four more episodes posting weekly for the next month. After that, seven more episodes are set to launch in January.
History be damned. And that's no joke, though the show sometimes feels like one. The CW's Reign (Thursday, 9/8c) is all about herstory, an opulent and giddy bodice-ripper very loosely inspired by the teenage years of the ultimately ill-fated Mary, Queen of Scots (a pouty Adelaide Kane). It's like Masterpiece Junior as seen on MTV after a jolt of Red Bull, or more to the point, Gossip Girl goes to court. And while it will win no prizes for scholarly accuracy (to put it mildly), Reign is such a fanciful folly of royal romance and literally poisonous court gossip that it's hard not to hail a CW show that breaks so lavishly from the network's usual formula of angst-ridden ghouls and cloying rom-com.
