The CW has ordered two pilots, including a retooling of last year's failed project, The Selection.
Set 300 years in the future, the Hunger Games-esque The Selection is about a working class woman chosen via lottery to compete for the Royal Prince's hand in marriage and to become the nation's future queen. The network previously ordered and shot the project last pilot season with Aimee Teegarden and Ethan Peck as the leads, but failed to pick it up to series. Although the new project will be re-cast, executive producers Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, who also wrote the script, will again oversee the project.

Ethan Peck has been cast in the CW pilot The Selection, Deadline reports.
Set 300 years in the future, the project is about a young woman named America (Friday Nights Lights alum Aimee Teegarden) who is chosen via lottery to participate in a competition to find the next queen. Peck will play Prince Maxon, whom America is reluctantly vying to marry.
ABC Family has named the main cast, including Gregory Peck's grandson, Ethan Peck, for its television adaptation of the 1999 hit film 10 Things I Hate About You.
The original film was based on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew and starred Julia Stiles as Kat and Heath Ledger as Patrick, which was Ledger's breakthrough film role in America.
Peck will play Patrick in the updated version while Aliens in America's Lindsey Shaw will tackle the role of Kat...
