With shooting set to start shortly, the cast for the 24 "prequel" movie is fleshing out. As first scooped by Ausiello, The Full Monty's Robert Carlyle was first to come on board. Smallville's Erica Durance, aka Lois Lane, and The L Word's Eric Lively have been cast in The Butterfly Effect 2, a sequel to the 2004 sci-fi thriller that grossed $58 million domestically. The follow-up will feature no characters from the original but will tell the story of another time traveler whose actions "in the past" disrupt the present.
