Eddie is sick and Martin tries to make him feel better with food. Frasier is speaking with the superintendent, Joe, about a leak in the ceiling that is coming from Cam Winston's, washing machine. Daphne is irked that the neighbor has a washing machine and they don't. Frasier bribes Joe to turn off Cam's water. Niles shows up riding a Segway Human Transporter that he is testing for an experiment at the University. Daphne and Martin want to ride it but Niles says one condition of the study is not to share. Cam arrives, telling Martin and Daphne that Frasier shut off his water. Cam notices that Eddie is sick and offers to have his mom, a vet, take a look at him. Cam's mother Cora stops by to check on Eddie and gives Frasier an envelope from Cam with a bill for clothes that were ruined when the water was shut off. Frasier tells Martin that no Winston's are allowed in his house. Cam and Frasier are upset when they see Martin and Cora talking, so the elder pair pretend to have a romance going to add fuel to the fire. Frasier questions Daphne about a missing sock and she tells him it wouldn't happen if they had a washer and dryer. Niles arrives at Caf Nervosa on the Segway, joining Frasier and Roz who are already there. Frasier is perturbed that Niles is getting so much attention with the vehicle. Frasier tells Roz about Martin and Cora's affair. Roz advises him to be the better man and apologize to Cam first. Just then, Cam calls Frasier to apologize, but Frasier pretends his cell phone is breaking up, upset that Cam had the idea first. Frasier and Cam meet to settle their feud and end up getting drunk and drawing up a 'friendship agreement' that is outrageous and petty. Daphne outwits Niles and takes a ride on the Segway, forcing him to chase after her. Frasier and Cam tell Martin and Cora that they have made a truce and Cora suggests Cam take Frasier to the symphony instead of her since she will be spending the evening with
