Norman Reedus Previews The Walking Dead's "Devastating" Midseason Finale

The Walking Dead books an appointment for revenge at Grady Memorial Hospital in the show's midseason finale (airing Sunday, Nov. 30 at 9/8c on AMC). The fight is led by Daryl (Norman Reedus), who is especially driven to rescue his two beloved allies — Beth (Emily Kinney) and Carol (Melissa McBride) — being held captive by the hospital's menacing police brigade. "He's ready to just burn the place down," Reedus says. "It's a different world now, and certain people have gone so dark that you have to put down the rabid ones in order to survive."

The Walking Dead: Can Anyone Be Trusted in This World?

As The Walking Dead lurched toward its Season 5 midpoint, multiple characters were forced to consider how much they could trust those in their company.

And, as is almost always the case, the answer was...not very much.

The Walking Dead recap: Is another war coming?

Sunday's episode featured Rick (Andrew Lincoln) & Co. planning another trip into Atlanta to rescue Beth (Emily Kinney) and Carol (Melissa McBride) from the gang at Grady Memorial  — and leaving Carl (Chandler Riggs), Judith and Michonne (Danai Gurira) behind at the church with Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). Meanwhile, Beth did her best to keep Carol alive at the hospital and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and his group tried to pull things back together in the wake of Eugene's admission about D.C.

So, who proved trustworthy? Let's break it all down...read more

[WARNING: The following story contains spoilers from Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead. Read at your own risk.]

By the end of Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, it became clearer what the show is most likely building toward for the midseason finale. And, naturally, it probably won't be pretty.

For the third week in a row, the show focused on a group not located with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) & Co. back at the church. In this case, the episode tracked Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) on their mission to find and rescue Beth (Emily Kinney). Their strategy....read more

5 Burning Questions for The Walking Dead's Fifth Season

Even the best TV dramas start to show signs of slowing down after a few years. And while AMC's The Walking Dead has arguably had its own share of stumbles in the past, the confident, action-packed Season 5 premiere suggests a show that's just getting warmed up.

Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus Team Up to Preview The Walking Dead's Fifth Season

To any outsider setting foot on the Griffin, Georgia, set of The Walking Dead, the sense of heightened security and secrecy is immediately apparent. Production assistants string giant tarps across the entrance to a small alley, shielding any on-camera action from the eyes of dozens of gawkers who have parked themselves across the street in the 90-degree heat holding homemade signs professing their love for AMC's hit zombie drama. ("I <3 Daryl Dixon" is one popular sentiment.) Brief glimpses of the show's stars elicit the kind of eardrum-tearing screams usually reserved for the latest boy band.

The Walking Dead Announces Season 5 Premiere, Releases New Trailer

AMC has set the fifth season premiere date for The Walking Dead.

Robert Kirkman's zombie drama will return for it is fifth season on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9/8c, it was announced at Comic-Con on Friday.

The fifth season will pick up with the group still at Terminus, though the producers still would not confirm that the Termites are the ruthless cannibals of the comics. But it won't be long before we find out! "We're going to see the story of Terminus," Kirkman told the crowd. "We're going to see how it happened."

However, the new trailer for Season 5 seemed to hint towards them being cannibals, with our group of heroes being lined up for the slaughter before Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) convinces Gareth (Andrew J. West) that they need to go to Washington, D.C. so Eugene (Josh McDermitt) can provide the right people with the cure. On the plus side, Beth (Emily Kinney) was not on that BBQ! Sadly, she seems to be in a juvenile correction center with a very violent corrections officer.

The Walking Dead Postmortem: Are the People of Terminus Cannibals?

[WARNING: This story contains major spoilers from Sunday's The Walking Dead season finale. Read at your own risk!]

The survivors of The Walking Dead have found themselves in yet another perilous position.

During Sunday's season finale, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his small group made their way to Terminus, a community that promised safety for all those who arrived. Once the group learned just how much of a lie that was, they quickly tried to make a run for it. But they ended up being forced by Terminus leader Gareth (Andrew J. West)  into a train car, where they were reunited with Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.). Suffice it to say, Gareth and the people of Terminus are not allies.

The Walking Dead: What is Terminus, really?
