When TV viewers last visited the immaculate streets of Chatswin on Suburgatory, George Altman (Jeremy Sisto) was having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad couple of days. After deciding to co-habitate with his girlfriend Dallas (Cheryl Hines), George's daughter Tessa (Jane Levy) protested and left to move in with her mom. Then, Dallas dumped George, but only after he had purchased a hideous house for Dallas that he didn't even like.
Fortunately, when the ABC comedy returns for Season 3 (Wednesday, 8:30/7:30c), George's dog days are almost over. "George is at a real low place," Sisto tells TVGuide.com. "He's living in this horrible house that he bought for his ex-girlfriend with leather wallpaper, he has no furniture, his daughter has run away to live with his ex-wife, and his only companion is a big dog. But the beginning of the season is the end of that cycle...
When will Grey's Anatomy end? Although ABC Entertainment president Paul Lee stopped short of confirming that this season will be the show's last at the Television Critics Association fall previews Sunday, he did say that creator Shonda Rhimes is "planning a number of series outs" should any cast members not renew their contracts. As it is, the network hopes it will "go on for many, many years to come."
Tessa (Jane Levy) vs. Dalia (Carly Chaikin): It's the battle that's been brewing since Suburgatory started, and on Wednesday's hour-long season finale (8/7c on ABC), series creator and showrunner Emily Kapnek promises the fireworks will be well worth the wait. "There is just a full-blown, very wildly choreographed girlfight," she tells TVGuide.com. "It's kind of one of those moments where it was bound to happen and it's the only way to settle it. It's really an epic girlfight."
Unfortunately their long-awaited scuffle couldn't come at a worse time for their parents. In the final moments of last week's episode, George (Jeremy Sisto) and Dallas (Cheryl Hines) decided to move in together. So will Dalia and Tessa be able to work things out and co-habitate? Will George and Dallas actually go through with the big move? And what does Kapnek have planned for next season? Here are 5 more teases for what's on the horizon in Chatswin...
Dalia and Daddy Altman kissing in a tree. K-i-s — wait, what?!
Suburgatory threw fans not one, but two curveballs last week when the sophomore ABC sitcom revealed that that a) Dalia (Carly Chaikin) used to hook up with Noah's eldest daughter, Jenna (Courtney Merritt), and b) that she had a secret stash of pictures of her and George "Daddy" Altman (Jeremy Sisto) hidden in her sock drawer. But what does it all mean? Thankfully, not everything is exactly what it seems.

To say the introduction of Tessa's mom on Suburgatory has been a long time coming is a little bit of an understatement.
"This was much later than we originally planned," creator and showrunner Emily Kapnek tells TVGuide.com of the debut of Tessa's long-gone mom Alex (played by Couples Retreat actress Malin Akerman). "We thought that we would get there by the [Season 1] finale and, at the same time, none of us were willing to rush that character in the door if we hadn't found the right person. It was really, really difficult, but Malin is the total package."
