Sesame Street
Sesame Street's upcoming 42nd season promises a gaggle of celebrity guests who'll frolic with children and puppets — as well as some skits based on pop-culture references.
Speaking of those, Glee (in a skit called "G"), Deadliest Catch ("The Heaviest Catch"), the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark ("SpiderMonster the Musical") and cooking competitions...

Paul McCartney
As a Beatle, Paul McCartney famously performed everywhere from Shea Stadium in New York to a rooftop in London. But it's as the recipient of the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song that Sir Paul finally headlines the White House, playing his hits for President Obama and the First Family on In Performance at the White House (tonight, 8/7c, PBS). "Paul fills arenas and stadiums, so to transfer that electricity to the intimate setting of the East Room was a challenge," says executive producer Peter Kaminsky...

In this exclusive Q&A — and to tide you over until new episodes return in early March — Mars creator Rob Thomas provides plenty of clues in response to these and other burning questions from TVGuide.com readers.

Veronica Mars"My boyfriend just fled the country with his dead ex-girlfriend's baby. I need a project." Don't worry, Veronica — I'm sure there'll be no shortage in your caseload as long as your friends and frenemies continue to be even bigger trouble-magnets than you are. On the friend front, Wallace's culpability in that hobo hit-and-run gets taken care of in record time — one fake limo ride and a few switcheroos (of the ex-girlfriend and cell-phone variety) later and our ever-respectable Mr. Fennel seems to be completely off the hook. It's not really that easy, is it? Methinks we might run into browbeating Uncle Rucker and basketball phenom Rashard again before the season's over. As for the frenemies, Logan and Weevil's ongoing Cagney & Lacey act ends about a
