Grey's Anatomy
Who's going to die on the Grey's Anatomy eighth season finale?
Six doctors — Meredith, Derek, Cristina, Mark, Lexie and Arizona — crash-landed somewhere in the woods on their way to Boise. Though we'd like to think that April (Sarah Drew), who failed her boards, would kill herself and save us the torment of a more shocking loss — the promos seem to indicate that it's one of the Stranded Six who won't make it out alive.

It can't be worse than the bloodshed two years ago when a crazed gunman hunted the doctors like animals, can it? "Yeah, it is," says Rhimes. "People's mettle is...

It's the question on the mind of every Grey's Anatomy fan: Who will be sticking around Seattle Grace next season?
With several of the actors' contracts up at the end of the season — and creator Shonda Rhimes putting the finishing touches on the finale script as we speak — fans are waiting with bated breath to find out which of their favorite doctors will be returning for Season 9. While there's no official word yet on who will be back, we decided to toss out a few ideas of our own as to how Meredith, Cristina and the rest of the gang could leave. Even though not everyone's contracts are up, we came up with a crazy-but-plausible scenario for everyone — and because some of our favorite couples could get split up, we've added a few scenarios in which one half stays and the other goes. Enjoy!

Kerry Washington
Ellen Pompeo, Kate Walsh and, for a short while, Caroline Dhavernas have all been leading ladies in shows from hitmaker Shonda Rhimes. Now, Kerry Washington steps up to the plate in Rhimes' new drama Scandal, which follows the exploits of professional fixer Olivia Pope, who manages the crises of the rich and famous on Capitol Hill. In the series premiere, Pope was tasked with cleaning up the potential controversy of a respected military man and murder suspect whose alibi turned out to be his boyfriend.
"I feel like the luckiest broad in show biz," Washington says of working with hit maker Rhimes. "I don't quite know how this happened, but I do feel like every time I read an episode it is Christmas morning."
TVGuide.com caught up with Washington to discuss being front and center in ABC's new drama, along with what's in store for Olivia Pope, the woman who's fixing everyone else's problems while toeing the ethical line:
