“It was not a good day,” according to Dr. Wyatt (Amy Madigan), but I’m inclined to disagree. While Meredith may be fooling herself into thinking she can accept that “Derek is with Rose,” Derek clearly got a dose of reality when he slept with Rose and found himself only thinking about Meredith. Cleary these two are meant to be together, but I have to admit, the longing and anticipation is driving me crazy! In truth though, the angst also creates some of my favorite moments. When Derek stood in the hospital hallway between Rose and Meredith, and in essence, chose to “spend the night” with Meredith at the hospital rather than go home with Rose, I was melting. That was until Meredith advised him to leave anyway, but Derek did return with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful monologue about celebrating when they “finally get it right.” True, he was talking about when they finally succeed at treating a clinical patient, but I think we... read more

After a long absence, Grey's Anatomy returned tonight with what could be the last glimpse we have at Seattle Grace for a while...and they did not disappoint. In a change from the norm, Bailey talked us through tonight's episode and from the moment she stated, "God created man and it's been downhill ever since," we knew that it was going to be a night unlike any other.Derek and Mark started things off by taking what looked like a light-hearted nature walk through the woods. Their travels ended up on a picturesque hilltop, where Derek exclaimed he was going to build his dream house. He wasn't kidding. With the architectural plans already mapped out, Derek blindsided Meredith with the news and her reaction was less than enthusiastic. Pushing Daisies and Dexter — two shows that could seriously keep each other in business, think about it! — on Sunday were named outstanding television comedy and drama at the annual Satellite Awards, handed out by the International Press Academy. Acting-wise, Michael C. Episode Recap: Crash Into Me (Part Two) December 6, 2007What a night! Mer finally tells Derek that she doesn't want him to date other people and he goes and locks lips with Rose at the hospital! Shonda couldn't have planned that cliffhanger any better herself, because tonight's episode marks the last new episode available this month. All I can say is, I really hope that Derek doesn't choose Rose over Meredith. It's true, Mer was slow to open up to him, but how can he walk away from her now? Especially after she told him, "I don't want to lose you."My heart really goes out to Bailey, too. Tonight, she put her troubled marriage on the line to operate on Shane (Gale Harold), a white supremacist.
