Here s Kristen Bell appearing on Ellen to retell the story of her recent birthday gift, when her husband Dax Shepard surprised her with a sloth (her favorite animal) and prepared to film her reaction, but she completely broke down crying with happiness before even seeing the sloth. The story is pretty adorable (at least, as adorable as us non-sloths can be), and the clip of Kristen Bell completely going out of her mind at 1:57 is hilarious, mostly because it s the exact same reaction I had when I heard the sloth squeak in this video. Huh. We re not sure if this is some sort of gag or, like, viral marketing video for hairbrushes or something (we re very jaded) (#2011), but it looks like, once upon a time, actress and Professional Juno Ellen Page made a YouTube video in which she auditions to perform stand-up comedy on Conan Huh! It isn t very funny? But it s probably purposely awkward because that is the whole Ellen Page Thing. She s got that sort of removed, hipster-y dilettante vibe going for her, and the ironic tiger painting in the background only fuels the rumor (we just made this up) that this was filmed in the basement of an Urban Outfitters in Silver Lake. (In actuality, it s probably a joke by comedian Steve Agee, whose Vimeo account is linked to in the description.)
