Question: Thanks to the writers' strike, I caught an episode of CSI: Miami for the first time Monday night. Can I just say how god-awful this show is? There were moments when I felt like I was watching Skin-a-Max. Elizabeth Berkley always looked on the verge of stripping and getting it on with David Caruso, while long, sheer curtains billowed in the background. Plus, all that crazy cinematography! Was the whole thing shot through an amber fractal lens? I guess it was there to distract us from the cheesy dialogue and wooden acting. How has that show lasted this long? I guess it's a matter of taste, and this surely isn't mine. Thanks for letting me vent — I really needed to purge myself!
