In trumpeting Dollhouse's Season 2 pick-up, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly called the decision "a bet on creativity" and "a bet on Joss" — as in series creator Joss Whedon. Immediately following Fox's upfronts presentation, TVGuide.com grabbed a few minutes with Dollhouse lead Eliza Dushku to celebrate the renewal as well as the show's fans.
Sci-fi fans love them some Eliza Dushku, and the sexy Dollhouse star is giving them even more to drool over by posing for the March issue of Maxim. For the photos, the former Buffy and Tru Calling actress went with a retro, sexy-but-"classy" movie star look. Dushku did a cover shoot for the men's magazine back in 2001 — which, according to the actress, had her three big brothers all up in arms. If her crop top got them all fired up last time, then they definitely won't mind their little sis posing in tiny black lingerie, right?

Eliza Dushku's residence in Fox's Dollhouse isn't stopping her from stepping out for new projects.
The Joss Whedon muse is developing a biopic of late photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, E! News reports. Mapplethorpe, who died in 1989 of complications from AIDS, was the subject of national controversy because of his homoerotic work.
Nobel Son stars October Road's Bryan Greenberg as Barkley, the son of a newly christened Nobel Prize winner (Alan Rickman) and a police psychologist (Mary Steenburgen). On the eve of jetting to Sweden for dad's big night, Barkley has an electric and amorous liaison with Dushku's character, named City Hall. That marks just the beginning of the film's very wild ride.
Dushku spoke with TVGuide.com about her Nobel endeavor, as well as shared an update on Dollhouse, which she touts as being "cool and hot and different." See what she had to reveal, after the jump. read more 17 Comments
