Our 5 Wishes for Dancing with the Stars All-Stars

Tom Bergeron

After ABC confirmed next season's all-stars outing of Dancing with the Stars, Tom Bergeron revealed that it will feature past champions, fan favorites and controversial cast members, which kind of took the wind out of sails. Do we really want to see Kate Gosselin again? No. Since season-planning is still in a nascent stage, we want to offer our two cents on how we think the season should be. Here are our five wishes for all-stars:

Dancing's Aiden Turner: Edyta Didn't Think We Should Be Going Home

Aiden Turner

Aiden Turner isn't the only one who felt cheated after his Dancing with the Stars elimination. The former All My Children star says his partner, Edyta Sliwinska, disagreed with the result as well.

"If you ... look at other people's performances, we were being scored on our performance value and also our technique, and you could really see that there were other people's technique and performances that weren't as good as ours," he tells TVGuide.com. "She really felt like we... read more

Dancing's Aiden Turner: I Was Hoping Kate Would Go Before Me

Aiden Turner

Former All My Children hunk Aiden Turner was the third casualty on Dancing with the Stars — an elimination that came as a surprise to him.

"I felt maybe a little cheated," he tells TVGuide.com. "Niecy [Nash]'s doing a great job. Kate [Gosselin]'s really trying. We're all trying. But I really hoped and thought that I could've stayed in that competition another couple of weeks."

Dancing's Aiden Turner on Spray-Tanning: I Don't Want to Turn Into George Hamilton

Aiden Turner, Dancing With The Stars

Aiden Turner is kicking up his feet on Dancing with the Stars — and his back is feeling the pain. "Oh my back — in the middle on the right side, it just aches and kills," the former All My Children star tells TVGuide.com. "I think it's from these twists we're doing. Our dance is faster than anybody's. At one point, Edyta [Sliwinska, his partner] grabs me, I have to lean back and then she pulls me, and we do three or four moves and my back goes click-click-click." The pain is worth the gain, though, because "it's getting to the point where I'm a little more confident that I'm not going to suck," Turner says. See what else the 32-year-old British actor has to say about learning — and (sort of) choreographing — the cha-cha, what he won't do on the show and how frequently he'll hit the spray-tan booth.

Top 6 Power Rankings: Romance Kisses Off Shannon-Derek Fans?

Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth by Kelsey McNeal/ABC

It would seem that Kristi and Mark cannot be KO'd. Having topped TVGuide.com's Dancing with the Stars Power Rankings since the season began, the favorites now are enjoying their largest chunk of the reader vote to date — 70.9 percent. Playing a part in the pair's increased lead was the fall of Shannon and Derek, who this week — and in the wake of their off-stage romance being exposed — lost nearly half of their supporters. The result is we now have a veritable three-way fight for distant, distant second. Elsewhere, Marissa and Tony crept out of the cellar, leaving Mario and Karino to claim last-place dishonors. The Top 6 Power Rankings70.9% Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas8.9% Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough8.0% Cristian De La Fuente and Cheryl Burke 8.0% Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska 2.2% Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani 2.0% Mario and Karina Smirnoff read more
