Edward Zwick Fast Facts:

While in college, he worked as a writer and editor for Rolling Stone and The New Republic.
Formed the Bedford Falls Company with writer-producer Marshall Herskovitz in 1985. The company has produced a number of acclaimed films and TV series, including thirtysomething, My So-Called Life, Traffic (2000) and Shakespeare in Love (1998), which earned him an Oscar for Best Picture.
Directed his first feature in 1986, the comedy-drama About Last Night....
Had a recurring on-screen role as a therapist in Once and Again, which he also produced.
