It's a mad, mad, mad mad farcical return to the days of the Keystone Cop comedies, on an Ultra Panavision scale, in this star-studded extravaganza. A multitude of people have been given a clue by a dying man (Jimmy Durante) as to the location of $350,000 in stolen bank money that he has buried. They cannot come to an agreement to seek out the loot as a cooperative unit, so they set out separately in a mad race to get to it first. They do not know that the state police are on to them and are simply allowing the loot-seekers to lead them to the stolen bucks. The loot-chasers are ruthless, devious, crackpot and very often dimwitted in their frantic, hilarious race. Alex, a self-absorbed young painter, is having a bad day. He doesn't get the art show he's been expecting, his girlfriend kicks him out, and he finds himself living in a low rent Hollywood apartment with an ironclad lease. Rejected, dejected, and surrounded by an assortment of neighbors he'd rather avoid, his downward spiraling life takes a turn when Lori, a country girl from Colorado, fresh out of the Air Force, moves in across the hall. It soon becomes apparent to Alex, though, that as convenient as it is to date someone across the hall, it's even more inconvenient to have her still living there when you try to break up.

Self-billed "happy hooker" Xaviera Hollander (Martine Beswick) conquers Tinseltown in this campy 1980 comedy based on her memoirs detailing her adventures in the sex trade. Xaviera wants to make a movie inspired by her larger-than-life life, but there are hurdles. Hollywood is overrun with crooks, incompetents and scoundrels she must vanquish with confidence and charm. Adam West co-stars as a sleazy producer.

As an elaborate practical joke, eccentric millionaire Cecil Fox (Rex Harrison) pretends to be gravely ill and beckons his three former mistresses to his deathbed, but his delightfully devious scheme goes horribly awry when one of the lovely ladies is murdered. This twisty crime comedy co-stars Susan Hayward as a Texas hypochondriac, Edie Adams as a fading starlet and Capucine as a distinguished princess.
