    My Name Is Earl delivered the goods again this week with a full hour comprised of two all-new episodes The first one featured Earl Jason Lee trying to cross 72 off his list by bringing Joy a hot tub to make up for one he accidentally prevented her from earning years ago I hope everyone already knew that lighters and hairspray dont mix And whats the usual high point of any Joy-centric episode Jaime Pressly of course For the first time ever youve satisfied me in a way Darnell never could Joy utters to Earl after he gives her the hot tub Understandably he leaves out the part about picking up the gift off the side of a road after finding a bum living inside of it Blissfully unaware Joy begins living it up as only she can spending day and night soaking in the questionable spa and indulging in Old British 40s while keeping pickles on her eyes Her life of luxury ends pretty abruptly though when she finds her big toe has become well a bi read more be the first to leave a comment

    I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays Of course we all missed Earl during the holiday season but we couldnt miss the holiday season during Earls much-anticipated return we rejoined the gang just as they were getting ready to celebrate Christmas But first they celebrated Earls release from prison in true style complete with eggnog make that martini with an egg in it The festivities were lost on Earl though as he quickly began reassessing his relationship with karma once he got his list back Losing faith he dragged his feet during his next outing as a do-gooder Unable to understand why hed recently been dealt such a rotten hand he was one step away from going back to his old ways Enter Ralph We havent seen him in a while and his return was glorious As usual Giovanni Ribisi churned out a stellar performance Part of the reason hes so enjoyable to watch in this role is that you can plainly see how much fun hes having and he had some great material read more be the first to leave a comment

    Well it looks like Im eating my words like a tasty dinner at the Crab Shack I got my hands on some bad information last week regarding tonights episode and passed it on to you My apologiesBut what better surprise could there be than this awesome episode Its amazing how far this show can go outside the box while working 100 percent perfectly Tonight Earl struggled to find his voice in a jailhouse creative-writing class while every character took turns at churning out their own hilarious short storiesAnd speaking of voices how about the pipes on Darnell If he had a CD out Id be first in line Oh wait look what I found Of course we all know how talented Eddie Steeples is but who knew Crab Man could put paper to pad and spin a creative yarn complete with lyrics Darnell might have the biggest heart out of everyone in the show I just didnt know he felt so strongly for crustaceansCatalinas tale was a humorous take on the Spanish-language telenovela format T read more

    You wouldn't know it from his laid-back on-screen persona, but Eddie Steeples is a very busy guy. In order to interview My Name Is Earl's Darnell (aka Crab Man), we had to e-mail him our questions, which he in turn responded to from the set of the independent film When Is Tomorrow, which he cowrote and coproduced. Like his Earl character, who's in the witness-protection program for undisclosed reasons, we get the feeling there's much more than meets the eye to the guy most of us first knew as Offic Max's groovy Rubberband Man.
