Tom Wilkinson, Pirates of the Carribean's Bill Nighy, The Riches' Eddie Izzard and classically trained theater vet Carice Van Houten (as Tom Cruise's love interest) have joined the cast of Bryan Singer's Valkyrie, a fact-based account of German generals' plot to assassinate Hitler during WWII.... Jack Black is a schoolteacher who discovers he has witchlike abilities, then (unwittingly) joins an all-girls coven in Man-Witch.... Wild Hogs director Walt Becker is at work on a sequel to the wildly successful comedy.

As Louisiana fireball Dahlia Malloy, Minnie Driver offers a beguiling mix of grace, grit and good old-fashioned star power to FX's The Riches (Mondays at 10 pm/ET). The native Brit chatted with us recently about the show.
TV Guide: How does Dahlia juggle it all, being a wife, mother, con artist, addict?Minnie Driver: I don't think it's a conscious thing. Dahlia doesn't want to go back to jail and that's the best incentive that she has. That's what she brings to her day, a desire to stay out of jail, to stay alive and to stay with her family.
TV Guide: Do you think you'd make a good con artist? Driver: No, no. I'm a horrible liar.
TV Guide: For a Brit, you do a terrific Dixie accent. How did you learn it? Driver: I had a couple of sessions with a dialect coach, and

Question: A while back, you responded to someone who disagreed with your lukewarm review of The Riches. You said you found it "intriguing" but not "compelling." You also mentioned that you planned to continue reviewing the series in depth as it continued. Now that a few more episodes have aired, I would like to hear what you think. I believe the show is an absolute gem, totally original and fabulously enjoyable. The acting (particularly from Eddie Izzard, Minnie Driver and the wonderful Margo Martindale) is outstanding, as you noted. I also think the two newest episodes have been the best yet, with a perfect blend of comedy and drama as Doug tries to phone it in as a lawyer, and Dahlia struggles with her pill addiction and the sheer boredom of being a housewife. How did you like the recent episodes, and how are you feeling about the series as a whole at this point? I really believe that this is one of the best shows on TV right now.
Answer: I wish I could agree with you on this one, but

FX's new series The Riches (Mondays at 10 pm/ET) stars comic Eddie Izzard as Wayne Malloy, the silver-tongued patriarch of itinerant grifters who appropriate the identity of a dead couple, always living one step away from getting caught. Izzard talked to TV Guide about this unusual TV clan, his comedy and the art of the con.
TV Guide: Do you see a moral ambiguity in The Riches' setup, since the Malloys are appropriating a dead man's life? Eddie Izzard: Yeah, well, I don't find it so morally ambiguous in the fact that [the deceased] wasn't using it. [Wayne and his wife Dahlia, played by Minnie Driver] are jackals, they are scavengers, so it is a criminal waste to waste all that stuff that's in the car; someone else is only gonna get it. And from that

Calling all Donna Pinciotti fans! OK, so it's not exactly the same redhead from That '70s Show, but Laura Prepon is back on the small screen with a lighter 'do and a big role — playing Mom on the new ABC drama October Road, which airs a new episode tonight at 10 pm/ET. While she's no Kitty Forman, her 28-year-old character, Hannah, does balance a job, a relationship and parent-teacher meetings. But her biggest struggle is her high-school sweetheart (played by Bryan Greenberg) rolling back into town after a decade's absence and dragging the past along with him. TVGuide.com talked to the fun, enthusiastic Prepon about her "awesome" character, grand gestures and her Jersey upbringing that bri
