Pretty Little Liars
Pretty Little Liars' fourth season is already off to a crazy start, but we wouldn't expect anything less after three seasons of nonstop WTF-ery. The ABC Family drama has so many twists, turns and shark-jumps that it's easy to forget some of its biggest jaw-droppers.
Let's take an absurd trip down memory lane and look back on the 10 most ridiculous PLL moments of all time.
Washing the windows is no concern when scrubbing bloody floors and covering up illicit affairs are part of your professional duties. Such filthy tasks are all in a day's work for Beverly Hills cleaning ladies Carmen, Marisol, Valentina, Rosie and Zoila. It's enough to turn anyone a little...devious.
Inspired by the hit Mexican telenovela The Disorderly Maids of the Neighborhood, the new Lifetime sudser Devious Maids was adapted for American audiences by Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry and features the same wickedly over-the-top tone. "But there are subtle differences," Cherry explains. "Devious Maids deals with themes of racism, classism and immigration. These women all work in the homes of rich people, but they have goals and dreams that are much greater than the people they work for realize."
The drama begins with the death of a mischievous maid named Flora...
Is Red Coat really Alison, the Pretty Little Liars' Queen Bee best friend thought to be dead?
"We're going into Season 4 with [the question of], is she or isn't she [alive]?" executive producer Oliver Goldstick tells TVGuide.com.
On the Season 3 finale, the battle between Mona (Janel Parrish) and foursome Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) came to a head with the reveal that not only did Mona never know the identity of her boss in the red coat, but that she, Spencer and Hanna ultimately believed her to be Alison (Sasha Pieterse). Does this mean Alison was never killed? Or does she have a twin? And can viewers believe Toby (Keegan Allen) when he claims he was only on the A Team to protect Spencer? Plus: Where the heck are Paige and Jason? Goldstick answers our (many) burning questions.
Keegan Allen and Troian Bellisario
"Mona is back, Toby is in black and Byron may be wack." That's the mantra that Pretty Little Liars executive producer Oliver Goldstick came up with while planning Season 3B.
"This is a game-changer for us because we've never had a parent who was really a suspect," Goldstick told TVGuide.com.

Pretty Little Liars executive producer Marlene King warned us that the midseason finale would include a major shock, but that didn't keep our jaws from hitting the floor when we learned in the final seconds of the episode that Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen) was the betrayer.

ABC Family is launching a new weekly spin-off web series Pretty Dirty Secrets, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The eight episodes will begin immediately following the Aug. 28th finale and continue to take place in Rosewood until the show's Halloween episode in October.

Pretty Little Liars' Jason DiLaurentis has returned to Rosewood and he isn't so happy.
"How could you defend Garrett?" Jason (Drew Van Acker) says to Mrs. Hastings (Lesley Fera) in the clip below. "It doesn't bother you that he murdered my sister?"
On Tuesday's episode, Mrs. Hastings revealed that she was defending the guy currently charged with Alison's murder, but wouldn't reveal her real reason why. (Spencer surmises that Garrett was Melissa's baby daddy.) And not only is Mrs. Hastings Jason's neighbor, last season we learned that her husband is actually Jason's father. Can we say "conflict of interest"?
Drew Van Acker
At TV Guide Magazine's Hot List party, Pretty Little Liars' Drew Van Acker (who plays dead Alison's brother, Jason) dropped a bombshell.
When the new season starts in January, "Jason comes back to town looking for answers as to who his real father is," Drew says. "We'll learn my...

Pretty Little Liars' Aria thought she had enough problems after being kissed by Jason. Turns out he's gone from admirer to stalker as Emily tells Aria about her and Spencer's recent discovery.
"Jason had pictures of you, creepy pictures of you," Emily explains in the clip below. "Spencer and I found a darkroom in his woodshed. He developed photographs of you sleeping — sleeping or drugged."
