Changed his name from Stephen to Dougray, which is his grandmother's maiden name, after learning there was already an actor named Stephen Scott.
Was originally cast as Wolverine in X-Men (2000) but was forced to drop out of the project because of a scheduling conflict with Mission: Impossible II (2000).
Became a Red Cross ambassador in 2005.
