Alfre Woodard in Something New

In the romantic comedy Something New, in theaters today, Sanaa Lathan plays an upwardly mobile African American who, despite cries of foul from friends and family, finds herself falling in love with Simon Baker's hunky landscaper. Donald Faison, Scrubs

Tonight at 9 pm/ET, NBC's Scrubs presents its 100th episode, featuring — no, not the death of someone close to Clark Kent — a humorous homage to The Wizard of Oz. This week's second helping guest-stars Jason Bateman and a whole lotta angry ostriches. Is this show officially off the hook? I agree with you that Keri ...

Question: I agree with you that Keri Russell is a total goddess. Anything in store for other cast members from the show? I know Keri has MI3, Scott Speedman is doing Underworld 2 and Donald Faison is on Scrubs, but what about the others?

Answer: Let's see… Amy Jo Johnson has a recurring role in ABC's midseason dramedy What About Brian?, which counts J.J. Abrams among its exec producers. And Amanda Foreman is the only reason to watch the Sept. 23 premiere of NBC's still-born fertility-clinic drama Inconceivable. She plays a brash surrogate mother to two gay dads and she's in full-tilt Meghan mode. God, I miss that show.

Scrubs' Wedding Fiasco

Forget Trista and Ryan's wedding. Turk and Carla's nuptials tonight on Scrubs (9:30 pm/ET) promise to be the TV wedding of the decade. But don't tune in expecting the carefully orchestrated and executed circus, er, ceremony that ABC and Bachelorette producers whipped up. This is a Scrubs wedding, which can mean only one thing: Everything that can go wrong does go wrong. But when asked what to expect in the third-season ender, Judy Reyes, who plays Carla, would only say, "It's going to be quite a ride... because of the nature of the show and the people who are getting married." Here's what else we know: Turk (Donald Faison) takes an extra shift at the hospital on the day of the ceremony, vowing to his anxious fianc&#233e that he'll get to the church on time. Needless to say, complications arise and pandemonium ensues as the dashing doc races against the clock to meet his bride-to-be at the altar. At least Carla w read more
