Martin runs for condo board president and Frasier does all the work. Frasier wants to be the condo board president, but knows he'll never win after getting on the bad side of every board member. So, he convinces Martin to run against him, knowing they'll choose his likeable father over him, then he can push all his agendas through Martin. In return, Frasier promises to do all the work and appease Martin by getting wider parking spaces. Frasier and Martin deliver their election speeches and as expected, the board unanimously votes Martin in. At first, the ever-popular Martin complies with all of Frasier's requests, but when Frasier gets mad at him for making a no-brainer decision without him, Martin rebels. He decides to run the show himself and implements getting wider parking spaces before Frasier's recommendation. The residents give Martin credit for all his brilliant ideas and they even bake a cake with his picture on it, much to Frasier's disgust. Jealousy gets the best of Frasier and he decides to expose Martin as a fraud at the next meeting. However, he ends up jumping to Martin's defense when the board turns against him for making the parking situation worse. Martin admits his presidency is a fa ade and explains the entire reason behind it. The group revolts and Martin states his resignation. When Martin and Frasier are walking out, the board is horrified to realize that the next in command for presidency is the runner up--Frasier! In the meantime, Niles and Daphne give Roz a hard time when they offer her a fruit salad called a m lange and she thinks they are asking her to engage in a provocative act. watch
