From the moment Ronny Munroe could crawl to the cupboards and reach in for the pots and pans to bang on, he knew he wanted to be a Rock Star. That dream was finally realized in 2003, when after many years of practice and dedication Ronny became the lead singer for the heavy metal legends, Metal Church. Ronny toured the world, received a lot of great press, and earned the respect of the heavy metal community.
Then in July of 2009, after much discussion, the members of Metal Church decided that each had side projects he wanted to pursue, and the difficult decision was made perhaps it would be best if Metal Church took a hiatus.
After seven years as lead vocalist for Metal Church, Ronny decided to use the break to venture forth on his own too, rolling up his sleeves and doing what he does best, bringing his next dream to fruition his first solo recording. After all, Ronny s voice is the epitome of what metal music should be dark, heavy, and deliciously melodic. With the help of some of the industry s finest engineers and musicians, Ronny set out to prove to the world that no matter what hurdles are thrown at you in life, success still lies in reach if you stay positive and keep moving forward. Ronny knew that if he released a solo album it would have to be better than good, it would have to be outstanding. Enter The Fire Within, Ronny s very first solo CD. And with the help of Rat Pak Records and Zenfilm, the forward motion has kicked into high gear with the release of Ronny s first full-length video, Delirium, which can be seen everywhere.
In a down economy, and even a down music industry, there are positive sparks beginning to fly. The moral here is simple: Don t let anything stop you from making your dreams your reality.
