CSI Finale: McKeen Is Back — And Deadly as Ever

On CSI, the name Jeffrey McKeen is basically synonymous with danger.

Finale Preview: Get scoop on 39 must-watch season-enders

That certainly holds true in the CBS drama's Season 13 finale (Wednesday at 10/9c). When one of the mayor's key supporters is suspected of murdering his own wife, D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) & Co. are tasked with clearing his name. In the process of doing so, however... read more

I know Castle is trying to keep Castle and Beckett apart, but why is he acting like such a brat? — Liz
ADAM:
He's just being a man, creator Andrew W. Marlowe says. "Men in general usually don't confront their feelings," he says of Castle's reaction to learning that Beckett remembers Castle's declaration of love. "He's certainly not the type of person to go up to Beckett and say, 'Hey, you hurt me!' because that would be exposing himself. He's expressing his anger with Beckett, and whether he knows it or not, he's trying to punish her without really putting his cards on the table." But don't worry: Beckett will soon figure out what set Castle off, thanks to another revealing chat with her therapist.

CSI: What Did You Think of Elisabeth Shue's Debut?

Out with the old, in with the Shue.

Wednesday's CSI began the process of replacing Marg Helgenberger's Catherine Willows. It did so with the introduction of Elisabeth Shue as Julie "Finn" Finlay, a blood-spatter expert brought in by D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) to sort through a particularly grisly and confusing crime scene. And one thing's for sure: These two have complicated history.

Thanks for the preview of next week's House. Anything else you can tell me? — Alex
ADAM:
While lots of (deserved) attention has been paid to Jeffrey Wright's excellent guest turn as a neurologist deciding House's fate, don't take your eyes off the rest of the team. The incident that leads to the investigation leaves a major character fighting serious injuries that could upend his or her future on the show. And the crippling fallout will even have Dr. Crankypants uttering the words — gasp! — "I'm sorry."

Is Julie really pregnant on Desperate Housewives? — Jaime
NATALIE:
The promos don't lie, and neither do we. Susan is going to be a grandma. The surprise twist? The father... read more

Marg Helgenberger Says Goodbye to CSI

It's not every job where having your boss call you "the perfect ex-stripper/cokehead" could be considered a compliment, but for 12 seasons now, that's exactly what CSI exec producer Carol Mendelsohn has thought of her departing star, Marg Helgenberger. "Some actresses might shy away from playing a part like Catherine Willows, but Marg turned all of Catherine's negatives into positives. I miss her already." Helgenberger exits the series this week after a dozen... read more
