Renegade cop and bounty hunter Reno Raines (LORENZO LAMAS) is ambushed and shot by his long-time enemies, corrupt Police Lieutenant Donald "Dutch" Dixon (STEPHEN J. CANNELL), and Sergeant Woody Bickford (RON JOHNSON). Reno manages to get to a hospital where he asks to see Dr. Helen McCray (LISA DARR), a close friend of his murdered fiancee. Dr. McCray agrees to treat his bullet wound without notifying the police.Reno returns to his employers, bounty hunters Bobby Sixkiller (BRANSCOMBE RICHMOND) and Cheyenne Phillips (KATHLEEN KINMONT). They receive a telephone call from Hound Adams (GEOFFREY BLAKE). Hound is the brother of Hog Adams (DON GIBB), who was hired by Dixon some time ago to kill Reno. Instead, Hog accidentally killed Reno's fiancge, then was murdered in prison by Dixon. Now Hound is in jail. He asks Bobby to pay his bail and bring $50,000 in exchange for a tape recording that will prove Reno innocent of the murder for which he was falsely implicated by Dixon. watch
