Romantic Linc for Prison Break Lunk?

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe by Jeff Vespa/WireImage.com

Prison Break has filled two of the four roles it's adding for Season 3. Brunette beauty Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (She's All That) has been cast as an operative for the Company, the conspiracy group that has dogged the boys since the day Steadman was "killed." O'Keefe's character, rumored to possibly be a love interest for Dominic Purcell's long-chaste Linc, is reportedly named Betty Crocker, but that is either a typo or just plain silly. Also joining the cast is Robert Wisdom (The Wire) as Luchero, an incarcerated Panamanian drug lord who calls da shots in Michael's squalid new digs. read more

Prison Break Star: Next Season Is TBD

The first season of Prison Break, which returns from hiatus on Monday, detailed the breakout, while the current season concerns our fugitives' race for freedom. What, then, would Season 3 be about? To hear series star Dominic Purcell tell it... well, no one knows. "Prison Break originally was a concept for two seasons," he says in the New York Post. "Now, because of its success and economics, the writers have to get really creative to justify a Season 3." One thing Purcell is (relatively) sure about: "I've been told that the conspiracy [that framed Lincoln for murder] ends this year." Indeed, judging by Monday's episode, which I am just about done watching, it would almost have to.... read more

At the Movies: Prison Breaker Is Up a Creek

Holy hunkitude! Prison Break's Dominic Purcell and Desperate Housewives' Jesse Metcalfe are brothers on a revenge mission who become ensnared in an occult experiment in Town Creek, a vampire flick directed by Joel Schumacher.... Per Variety, Warner Bros. is moving up the release date of Letters from Iwo Jima, Clint Eastwood's companion pic to Flags of Our Fathers, from Feb. 9 to Dec. 20, making it, too, eligible for awards consideration. read more

Trial by Television
Justice: Wooing a court of public opinion

If there were any justice, TV would ease up on the glut of crime and legal dramas. But that's hardly likely, and Fox's cynical Justice (Wednesdays at 9 pm/ET) knows it all too well. Realizing how pointless it would be to try to reinvent the courtroom drama, Justice embraces the fact that our post-O.J. society is saturated with true-crime coverage and fake-crime stories. That's why TV itself (embodied by a fictional infotainment show, "American Crime") is a major character in Jerry Bruckheimer's latest fun-to-watch procedural. As the head of a glamorous L.A. law firm, Victor Garber sheds the tight-lipped restraint of Alias' Jack Bristow and taps into his theatrical roots as cocky read more

There's No Escaping Prison Break's Baddie

Wade Williams, Prison Break

If — I'm saying if — Michael and Lincoln succeed in busting out on Fox's Prison Break (Mondays at 8 pm/ET), one guard in particular will make it his personal mission to hunt down the fugitives: Captain Bellick, he of the shady ways and the perpetually disgusted scowl. Here, the grumpy guard's portrayer, Wade Williams, reveals just how fiercely personal it's going to get for Bellick and the boys.

TVGuide.com: Fans really enjoy your work on Prison Break. Bellick is really the guard you love to hate.
Wade Williams:
You know, I'm so fortunate, dude. I've been doing this a long time and to get a job lik read more

Fox has been taunting me for ...

Question: Fox has been taunting me for weeks now with the previews for the return of Prison Break. While there is no doubt I love the show and will watch it, I admit that the hiatus has eliminated some of the tension that used to carry me from week to week. What are the chances that Fox will run a PB marathon to entice new viewers while building the tension and excitement again for old viewers? The show is too fabulous to lose the momentum from the fall, and I can't wait that long for my Dominic Purcell fix. Answer: Look for a Prison Break marathon on March 19 (the eve of the show's return with new episodes), but on FX, not Fox. The marathon will include a behind-the-scenes special and episodes 8-13, wrapping with last November's cliff-hanger. A lot of time has passed, to be sure, but I have no doubt that the show's fans will get right back into the mood of things. On a separate front, harking back to earlier questions, this from Margo: "Why the need to compare Prison Break and Bones, ... read more

Any scoop on the last nine ...

Question: Any scoop on the last nine episodes of Prison Break?

Answer: I don't think Fox has announced this yet, but Dominic Purcell told me on the Golden Globes red carpet that the show returns from hiatus on Mar. 20. And that's not all Lincoln's other half shared: "One inmate dies."
