Sang gospel as a child with her family.
Filled in as a vocalist for the Drinkard Singers, which consisted of her mother Lee and various relatives.
While in her teens, formed a gospel group called the Gospelaires with her sister Dee Dee.
Early in her career, sang background vocals for Chuck Jackson, Dinah Washington and others.
Started her illustrious collaboration with Burt Bacharach and his partner Hal David when they heard her singing with the Drifters.
Started using the name "Warwick" instead of her birth name "Warrick" when it was accidentally misspelled on her first single.
Sang on the hit 1985 charity singles "We Are the World" and "That's What Friends Are For."
Created her own collection of electronic greeting cards for DoozyCards.
