Hosted the game shows The Perfect Match (1967), Sports Challenge (1971-73), Baffle (1973-74) and Three for the Money (1975).
Received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1998.
Received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Indiana University in 2002.
Has earned nine Sportscaster of the Year awards and 14 Sports Emmy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Wrote a one-man play entitled COACH: The Untold Story of College Basketball Legend Al McGuire, which was first performed in 2005 at Marquette University.
