[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the series finale of Private Practice. Read at your own risk!]
When Addison (Kate Walsh) showed up at Seattle Grace in the Season 1 finale of Grey's Anatomy, we hated her. She was the salmon-scrub wearing wife of Derek, and darn it, we wanted McDreamy and Mer to get their happy ending. But by the time executive producer Shonda Rhimes sent Addison packing for the Private Practice spin-off, we truly loved her. We hoped she'd find a way to have a child. We hoped she'd find love. We'd hope she'd find happiness. In Tuesday's Private Practice series finale, Addison had finally found it all...

The day Californication's Hank Moody (David Duchovny) has dreaded for three seasons finally came in the show's Season 3 finale.
After managing to escape a complicated web of lovers and deciding to settle down in New York with his soul mate, Karen (Natascha McElhone), Hank receives a surprise sucker punch: Mia (Madeline Zima), his ex's almost-daughter-in-law, wants to go public with their one-time affair and dirty little secret.
Californication finale: Look who's back in town!
"I always thought that it would be the right endpoint," series creator Tom Kapinos tells TVGuide.com...
Californication's Hank Moody (David Duchovny) has really done it this time.
The charming lothario was already in deep: He's bedded both his teaching assistant (Diane Farr) and a student (Eva Amurri), and he's got the prim-and-proper dean's wife (Embeth Davidtz) all hot and bothered. But now, Hank's soulmate and mother of his child, Karen (Natascha McElhone), has returned from New York, sending Professor Moody into female frenzy.

In Sunday's episode (10/9c, Showtime), Hank will try to do right by Karen and end things with the other women. As the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Fortunately for us, though, the results are quite hilarious. TVGuide.com chatted up all of Hank's ladies to see just how much worse things are going to get for him before they get better.
Peter Gallagher, Kathleen Turner
Californication's Hank Moody has a new literary contact and a new antagonist in the third season of Califonication, courtesy of new castmates Kathleen Turner and Peter Gallagher.
Maybe it's us, but the sultry-voiced Turner (Body Heat, War of the Roses) seems like the perfect choice to play Charlie's (Evan Handler) sexy and tough new agency head — who has a thing for him. Turner is slated to appear in 10 of the season's 12 episodes. Let the awesomely awkward sexual harassment begin!
Meanwhile, Hank (David Duchovny), who will be blundering his way through his role as a single parent to Becca (Madeleine Martin) this season, takes a new gig as a university professor. As reported last week, Numbers' Diane Farr will join the cast as a sexy teacher's assistant who gets her naughty on with Hank in several episodes.
OC's Peter Gallagher will play a dean of students who has a contentious relationship with Hank in eight episodes. Read on and comment after the jump!
Californication's Hank and Karen may have maxed out their relationship issues, but David Duchovny's debauched writer is getting a new love interest in Diane Farr.<
